Natural Beauty
St. Lucia in West Indies deserves high praise for its natural beauty. Its majestic twin coastal peaks, the Pitons, jut up 2,000 feet from the sea. The island hosts lush vegetation brimming with wild orchids, giant ferns and several birds. Most famous among these creatures is St. Lucia parrot.

Soulfriere Volcano, world's only drive-in volcanic crater is located in St. Lucia. It also possesses high-quality facilities for activities and sports like golf, sailing and tennis. Divers are lured by the reefs found just north of Soufrière. Several natural attractions also located in this area.

Castries city and neighborhood villages in the northwest, along with Rodney Bay and Marigot Bay are the destinations of most holidayers. Southern part, which is occupied by dense forest and banana plantations is also visited by several visitors. The Pitons on the southwest coast serve as navigational landmarks for sailors and aviators alike.
